My plan of waking up later than noon didnt happen. Mum woke me up a few minutes after 10. *yawns* Did the housework, cut Gemuk's nails and gave him a bubble bath before I had to entertain the guests. Then headed to the aunt's open house/kenduri. It was fun.. Took lots of pictures with the cousins.

2 hours later, we went to daddy's childhood friend's house. Followed by another of his childhood friend's place. Listening to them talk about their "adventures" made me laugh. Mummy knows them too. Apparently, all of them grew up together. Gerek sey!

We went to arwah granddaddy's bestfriend/cousin's place before finally heading home as mummy's aunt and her sons & daughters & family are coming over. By then I was so exhausted that I switched on the aircon and lied down on the bed. Heheheheee! Luckily I didnt have to entertain them. Just helped with the serving of drinks, kuihs and the noodles that mummy made.

Cant believe that it's Monday tomorrow. Back to work. How I wish I dont have to.. *sighs* By the way, see how much Gemuk loves me! Huahauhauahuahaa..

No thanks to MM, I woke up with eyebags. Poor me had to go to work looking like a panda. *sniff sniff* Talked to him on the phone last night till both of us fell asleep whilst talking. Hahaha! Couldnt even remember what we talked about.

Anyways, thought of taking a nap when I got home but daddy's friend & family came over followed by the aunt & cousins. Halfway through entertaining my cousins and watching the telly, I fell asleep. Sleep got distracted and then the cousin asked if I could accompany her to her friend's open house at Pasir Ris. Initially I didnt want to since it was so far away and I was tired but I decided to go anyway. Made her follow me to MM's place first. Heheh. He had wanted to come to my place at night but I went to his instead. Cause today is the only day I'm able to go to his place since I'll be busy working on weekdays and going out with other friends on weekends. And it's no problem for him to come to my place anytime since he has more off days than working days and furthermore, he has his own transportation. =) His living room decorations' colour are the same as mine. Blue. And we wore the same colour baju kurung. Black. Great minds think alike. Huahauhauahaua.. Here's a pic of him looking out of the window. He's shy. Haha! I've just realised that we have many things in common and we think alike. Not a wonder why I can get along well with him. He's the only guy, other than my family members, who understands me. But I dont understand why he has this habit of playing with my handphone everytime we meet. Crazy! Our handphones have the same functions, pictures, ringtones, animations & even the cover colour.. Only difference is the model number. Heheh. And I love him anyway, with all his sillyness and crazyness. He makes my life interesting. LoL~

Went to the cousin's friend's place before going to Vina's. Luckily there was still a bus for me to take or I'd have to waste my duit collection on the cab fare home. By the time I reach home, my eyes can barely open and when texted MM to tell him about it, he replied with, "Memang Padan". Kurang asam tul~ Pfffffffffffffft! But nevermind, at least I've asked him for forgiveness face to face. Now all I've got to do is not to do anymore dosa towards him. *grins*

Oooooooooooooo.. My bed and pillows are beckoning to me. I'm thinking of waking up no sooner than noon. =p

Slacked at work. A first for me. Somehow the kids' lazy bug bit me and I realised that working my *** off all the time isnt a good thing afterall. Like the saying goes.. If you cant beat them, join them. =) Boss said that we might have to go to Expo next week to work. My oh my. What a lovely change. At least my face wont be covered with dirt and dust by the end of the day. *sighs* My poor, poor face. =p

What is it that I do? It's hard to put into words. Where is it that I work? It's in an area just opposite of Johor. Yeap! That ulu, tempat jin bertendang place. I get to see Johor's coast each morning and evening. And if I look hard enough, I can even make out the vehicles passing by the roads there. Interesting.

Am so glad that Taufik got into the finals of Singapore Idols. He's absolutely cute! Oh and he looked so handsome when he smiled. *faints*

Cant wait to go jalan raya with friends. Be it with previous colleagues, secondary school mates or poly kids. Miss them so much! Everyone of them. Okay.. I might be exaggerating but there are a few whom I miss. Heheh.

On another hand, the boy who was previously known as the GBF will now be known as MM, short for My Mat. LoL! Dont ask me why I decide to call him that. And no, he's not exactly mine but I just like it. So MM it'll be then. Till I find another suitable nickname for him. *grins*

Daddy picked me up from work. Luckily for me since I was really tired. But had to quickly bathe and change since an aunt & her family's coming over. Furthermore, daddy wanted to go jalan raya. Wore my jubaah as I couldnt be bothered to iron my other baju kurung. Hehehehee! But I got praised when a distant cousin saw me wearing my jubaah with my boots (yeah, boots! too lazy to get new shoes). She said that I looked like a model. Awwwwwwwwwwwww. So sweet *blushes* So what if it came from a 6 year old? Kids dont lie. Khekehkehekee.. Oh and I got duit raya from the eldest cousin and her mum cooked sasuka which I have been dying to eat since the fasting month. Yayness! =p

Anyways, this is the new darling in my life.



So cute, right? Only 9++ months old. Dunno why he wore a shirt the same colour as the carpet though. Hahaha!

Went to BBDC. It wasnt crowded and it only took me less than 5 mins to get my PDL renewed. Met ZuL after that to get the Photoshop CD. He was late. tsk tsk! Went walking around looking for roti prata but none of the foodcourts seem to sell them today. Kesian ZuL kempunan. LoL~ Went to MCD's to get ice creams before we said goodbye and went our seperate ways home.

Didnt go to work today.. Went to the doctor's and he gave me 2 days MC. Yay! Am so happy. *skips around the room*

Finally got a cd-rom drive for Aaron. Heheh! Bro kept complaining and asking when mum or I'm going to get one. Well, he's right. It has been ages. *can hear ZuL saying,"FINALLY!"* Hahahaha. So, now I can burn all the pictures I've stored on Aaron to a cd in order to free space and burn songs as well for daddy's new cd-radio player in his car. It's so cool! A maximum of 10 cds can be stored at one time. Very convenient for travelling. =)

Anyways, I've removed the old cd-rom and put in the new one but I just cant seem to put back the front cover thingy. Pffffffffffft! My poor fingers are tired and sore from all the pushing and pulling. Think will try again tomorrow. Heehehee! Furthermore, I have my cousins' presents to wrap. *sighs*

I'm so glad I dont have to work tomorrow. *grins*

In the morning, went to Masjid An-Nur for solat Aidilfitri before heading to the cemetary to visit arwah paternal grandma's grave. After which we headed back for breakfast of ketupats & lemang before getting ready and ask for forgiveness. As you can see, this year the whole family's wearing white/cream. Pure & Innocent! Huhuhuhuhu~

Headed to granddaddy's place in Pasir Ris. First family to arrive. More phototaking before we left for Johor. Went to the aunt's holiday home before going over to maternal grandma's place. Was exhausted by then and so I settled myself in front of the telly with lots of pillows. =) Another round of phototaking before heading back to Singapore.

Everybody met again at my aunt's place where I had baked lasagne. Absolutely wonderful!!! Since I got sick of eating bryani, lemang, ketupat and such at the previous houses. Heheh! Took pictures again before finally heading home. But the fun didnt stop then. Daddy's siblings came over. Entertained them as usual. They left an hour later.

Oh and I still got duit raya. Yippppppppppppe~ Granddaddy, uncles and aunts were too kind. Khekhekehkehee. Well, got to go call the boy and ask about his raya before going to sleep. Luckily tomorrow's a holiday too.

Everything's settled. House's clean, including my room! *gasps* Hehehehee.. Had ketupat and lemang for iftar just now. Mummy's such a great cook. =)

Was suppose to meet the boy at Geylang but decide not to. Main reason cause of transportation. Too bad daddy and mummy didnt feel like going and the idea of asking the boy to pick me up and send me home doesnt appeal to me. Huahuahauhaua! Which resulted in him calling me a doinkz. Chetz!

Aunt from Birmingham called a couple of minutes ago to wish us Selamat Hari Raya. It's stupid of me to say this.. but when I picked up the phone, she actually recognised my voice and remembered my name! Hehehehee.

So this is it. The end of Ramadan. There's a feeling of sadness mixed with a little feeling of happiness and gratefulness. I would like to take this oppurtunity to seek forgiveness from my fellow bloggers, friends and readers. In any case have I hurt anyone's feelings or had acted in such a manner that would cause you to despise me, I'm truly sorry.

Okay, so I havent updated in awhile. Doubt anyone misses me anyway. Hahah! Last couple of days, have been reaching home a few seconds before it's time to break fast. Stupid bus always came late. Pffffffffft! Am dreading the thought of having to go back to normal working hours starting from next Tuesday. Argh!!!

Went to Mustafa Centre the night before Deepavali with the parents, aunt, uncle and cousin. We reached there ard 12++am. Was surprised to see the many people there. Especially Malays. Thought that I was in Geylang and not Serangoon. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. The boy planned to go there too but he thought that it wont be open so he went to Geylang instead. Hur hur! Luckily didnt bump into him since couldnt be bothered with lenses and settled for specs and natural beauty. LoL! Left the place around 2, iftar at Beach Road before reaching home at around 3. Next morning, managed to catch up on sleep and bake honey cornflakes. Thank God for the public holiday. I was getting sick of having to wake up early every morning. =)

Today was no exception. Was very much tempted to head down to the polyclinic and get an MC. But think will save it for next week. Huhuhuhuhuh! Guys at workplace crack me up with their jokes and silliness. But it's wonderful that we can talk about anything under the sun. They saw the boy's and ex's pic in my handphone. One of them commented that the boy's much more good looking than the ex. Khekhekehkehee~ Will have to remind self not to tell the boy in case he kembang. =p

Cleaned the whole living room myself since could see that mummy was exhausted. Didnt complain since I felt that it's my responsibility. Awwwwwww! Daddy's and mummy's princess has finally grown up~ Hahahaha. Absolutely love the way the living room looks now. If only it'll stay the same for a whole month. Oh how I hope!!!! Sent a MMS to the boy with the picture of the living room and now he wants me to come over tomorrow to help clean his living room. Blargh!

Am so happy cause the boy bought a purple colour baju kurung. Same colour as one of mine. Yay! Hahahaa.. Doubt will have the chance to go out with him though. Our working schedules clash. Boring. But then again, we can never know.. Can we? Or I could always just ask him to come over. *grins*

By the way, anyone listened to Ria in the morning? I forgot to tune in. Aunt in Birmingham got to be ON AIR with aunt here. How I could forget is beyond me.. Tsk tsk! It would have been so nice to get to hear her voice. Been awhile since she moved there.

This princess had slept late yesterday night and waking up early this morning was really difficult for her. Especially since she has never woken up earlier than 10 every morning. Luckily daddy sent her to work. Which was just a 15mins drive away.

But alas, she forgot to call the company in advance thus when she got there.. The place wasnt even open yet! There were a lot of pakcik pakcik and abang abang around and she guessed daddy sensed that she didnt feel comfortable so he waited with her till 8.30. That was the so-called reporting time. A couple of minutes after daddy left, 2 guys came. Lucky for her, they were from her school and it was really easy to talk to them. They finally gave up waiting for the staffs to come and went to hang out at a nearby foodcourt. Sadly to say, she saw a couple of people who didnt fast, eating. *sighs* Texted the boy to tell him of her misfortune and discovery of non-fasting people, only to get scolded. Apparently, he didnt believe that she's working at a place full of stagnant waters, drains, dusts & such.. A heaven for all bacterias and mosquitos. And that the only place to sit without getting bitten by the pesky mosquitos is at the foodcourt. But he did shut up after she sent him a pic of her working place. Hah! Serves him right for thinking that she'd lie. Pfffffffffffffft!

Would absolutely LOVE to blog about work but she thinks that it's best if she shouldnt. For security purposes. But honestly, it wasnt like what she expected. The only thing keeping her sane is the thought of getting it over and done with and she has decided to take each day at a time. Furthermore, she has the guys to keep her company. Oh.. Did she mention that they're one of the funniest people she has ever known? They help keep her awake with their jokes and they'll always smile/wave/try to see what she's doing whenever they passed by the office. The best part is, they stay in her area! So she doesnt have to worry about going home alone. =)

And so the day ended with her eating her mummy's delicious lasagne and kacang pool. Too bad there's no pictures of them. For she was too hungry to think of anything else other than to fill her empty tummy. Poor princess had to break fast by eating mentos. tsk tsk!

Off to sleep she goes. A new adventure awaits her but unfortunately, she's not looking forward to it. Unless of course if the pakcik pakcik or abang abang would let her have a go at riding their gorgeous piece of metal. Their bikes ah! Whatever were you thinking? Isk!

What a perfect time to go shopping. Saved a couple of dollars thanks to the discounts. Bought lots of stuff for myself, using my own money. Huhuuhuu! It sure feels good.

Decided to go to Compasspoint after doing our shopping at CP to buy food for iftar. Was sick of going to the bazaar you see. So we took the bus and slept during the ride. Got a little lost trying to find our way to Banquet but luckily we followed the yummylicious smell.. For it brought us there. =p Took the cab home since mum, bro and me were too tired to wait for the bus.

Bought this sticker for my helmet. Heheh. Nice, isnt it? I finally found a place where I can get nice stickers. Yay!



Haiz. Too bad it's Monday tomorrow. Will be starting work at the new place. *sighs* But wait a minute, Deepavali's on Thursday and Hari Raya is on Sunday. Purrfect! The week will pass faster than I expected. And after that, I'll only have to endure another 3 weeks before I can say sayonara and maybe, go back to the old workplace. I'm beginning to miss the crazy kids.

Oh and guess what? The aunt and cousins gave me this as a belated birthday gift.

Iftar at a mosque in Johor with the parents, aunt, uncle and three cousins. Did Maghrib prayers, Ishak and finally terawih.

Then we went to Angsana SC where the cousins and I went walking around looking for Hari Raya cards. Heheh! I know, it's a bit too late to send them but it's the thought that counts afterall. Furthermore, I cant possibly send a virtual card to these selected few. They deserve the personal touch! LoL. Met up with the mummies and daddies before embarking on a kuih testing mission.

Initially the mummies and daddies were glady tasting/munching the various samples of kuihs, but after visiting the 3rd stall, they surrended.. Leaving us to complete the mission. And what fun that was! There's this peppermint kind that leaves a fresh minty taste in our mouths. We call it the Darlie/Colgate/Oral B kuih and decide to eat it everytime we feel too lazy to brush our teeths. The stallowner liked our comments so much so she started giving us more samples of kuihs to try. From one stall to another, the mission continued. Only after we had conquered the whole bazaar did the mummies decided to stop and call it a day. By this time, each of us were carrying plastic bags with an average of 2-3 types of kuihs in them. *gasps* So in total, mummy bought 10 types of kuihs. I'll give it 2 weeks before they all disappear. Hahaha!

Reached home, wrote the Hari Raya cards. Writing in English is no problem.. But when it came to writing in Malay, my mind went blank! Wahlau~ Nama ajer Melayu. Kena tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu aje terus kaku. Jangan cakap tulis, nak berbual pun kadang kadang gagap. Haiz. This coming from someone who scored A1 for her Malay O Levels. Hah! Mana nak letak nie muka.. Malunya~ =p

And there's something about these cards that I always find difficult to post them. Know why? Cause I'll look at them and find them so beautiful that I want to keep them for myself. Hahaahaaa! Crazy.

Gotta go sleep now. Mum says I have to get up early tomorrow. B-O-R-I-N-G! Heheh.

Was late in meeting Ty at the MRT station. Truth to be told, I was really tired thus didnt feel like leaving the house again after I came back from school. But I dragged myself out, ran in the rain since I couldnt be bothered to bring an umbrella along, missed the bus, had to wait for 10mins before another came. Luckily Ty wasnt mad at me! She didnt have the time to anyway. Huahuahauahua~

Train came. Saw an ex chatter friend. He was alighting while I was boarding. Waved and smiled. Next person I saw was our secondary school teacher. It was a blast talking to him. He's one of the teachers who has made a HUGE impact in my life. =)

Iftar at Cavana @ Marina Square. After which a bit of retail therapy. The girls bought me a pair of shoes as a belated birthday present, Ty got her handbag before all of us had McD's sundae ice cream for desert.

Off to Geylang we went. Bumped into lots of familiar faces. Cousins from both sides of the family, friends from seconday school and poly. Vina even commented that I was famous. Hahaha! Numbers were exchanged, smiles and hugs were given. =) Didnt meet up with the boy as I was too tired to wait for him. Furthermore, he was working and didnt want him to get into trouble.

Contemplated with the idea of taking the cab home but sadly couldnt find the atm anywhere. Thought to myself --> should have just called the boy to come fetch me. *grumbles* So Ty and I had to take the train back. Both of us were so sleepy and exhausted. Luckily we got seats.

By the way, can you see my blinking lights? Beautiful arent they? ZuL made them blink. Yay! Thanks ZuL. You're one of the bestest! Khekhekehkheeee~

Now I dont have to go Geylang again, anytime soon to look at the lights. I have my own, right here. *grins*

Today marks the end of my exams. There's something about last papers. It makes me feel so lazy, not wanting to study for them. *sighs* I just hope I'm prepared. Am I? Am I? Yes, Insya-Allah. I think so. *blur*

Might go out to celebrate. Not sure yet. Thought of going Geylang with the girls and perhaps meet up with the boy for awhile. We'll see.. We'll see. Who knows, maybe I'd skip Geylang and go to Serangoon instead. Huhuhuhuh!

Ooooo. Now, the GBF shall be referred to as the boy. Just so to make some people confuse. Heheh. I'm going crazy. Sleep I need!

Didnt run the errands since it started raining heavily and I was too lazy to leave the comfort of my house to brave the strong wind and rain. *grins* So I decided to start cooking earlier than I intended t. Wanna learn how to cook? Hehehehe.. Just follow these simple steps.

Get the ingredients ready.



Boil the macaroni. Dont forget to add in a pinch of salt. Or if you're too stingy, seawater can be used as well. LoL~ Drain the macaroni and wash with ice cold water. Cut the capsicum, tomato and button mushrooms into small bits for easy comsumption. And also to make sure picky easters will find it difficult to pick at their food. =p



Then for the sambal. Mummy taught me to make sure the oil is hot enough before putting in the blended chillies & onions in. Stir, stir, stir. Wait till the sambal changes colour before putting in the prawns and chicken.
Add sugar, salt and ajinamoto. Dont put too much of each. Especially the ajinamoto. Or you'll lose your hair before Hari Raya.. Huahauhauaa!




"How would I know if the sambal's ready?" you may ask.
Well.. If it looks like the right most picture above, it's ready. =)

Add in the veggies and macaroni. Stir, stir, stir. Make a hole in the middle of the wok and break an egg before stirring all over again.
If you want, you can fry the egg in a seperate pan, like the picture on the right, below.





And this is the final product..




The verdict: Mum says it tasted delicious. Except that it could do with a bit more salt. Huhuhuh! As for bro, somehow when he saw the macaroni, he knew that I had made it but he didnt complain so I assumed it did taste nice. Huhuhuhuhu!

Whoever had doubts as to whether the princess can cook should be ashame of themselves. Khekhekehekheke~

The parents & I went to Ikea yesterday.. Everytime I go there, I fall more and more in love with their products. Cant blame me. I am afterall one of the most important people in the world. Or so I would like to believe. Khekhekehkee~ And to make it official, I am now a friend of Ikea's. Yiiiiipeeeeeeee! Okay, gonna let the pictures do the talking.



Bought food for iftar at a nearby hawker centre. The chicken rice is absolutely delicious.

Anyway, slept early last night thanks to my new aromatheraphy candle. But woke up later at around 2 in the morning with nothing to do. *sighs* Had a little tiff with the GBF. Dont remember what it was about already. As always, it ended faster than it happened. He then sent me an sms that says, "In life, God doesnt give you the people you want, instead He gives you the people you need.. to teach you, to hurt you, to love you & to make you exactly the way you should be.". So true. I can list down the names of those people and it'll be a very, very long list.

I've got lots of errands to run today. Pay bills, collect bro's pants, etc.. And most importantly, cook for iftar later since mum's gonna be back late. *gasps* Me? Cook? My oh my.. Scary thought, isnt it? *grins* I can actually count the number of times I've ever cooked in my whole life. Hahahaha.. But each time I did, the family members commented that it's delicious. hmmmmmmmmmmMM. Maybe they're being nice. Oh who cares? At least it's edible. Huahauhauahuaa.. Maybe I should get some food from the bazaar as well. Just in case my cooking didnt turn out right. Khekhekehkeheeee~ Toodles!

Haiz! Malas betul nak belajar lagi. Otak rasa sakit kerana telah bekerja keras. Sungguh kesian. Harap harap dia tak self shut down. Kalau tak, mampos lah nanti.

Went to Causeway Point with mum to buy pants for bro. Wasnt in the mood actually. It has been raining every evening and I miss Mr Sun. =(

Anyways, we were to caught up shopping for his pants that we lost track of time. Bro met us after work and we went to McD's to iftar. Got a free apple pie each. Dunno why but who cares anyway? FREE! Yay~ Went to the bazaar again, B-O-R-I-N-G!, before going home.

For the first time in my life, I didnt buy anything. I'm not exactly broke but the things I need to buy can wait till this weekend when I get my pay. Heheh. Can hardly wait!

Okay, since many people have been asking what GBF stands for.. I'm finally going to tell. *drum roll* GBF simply stands for Guy Best Friend or Girl Best Friend. So he is my GBF and I'm his GBF. Understand? Khekhekehekheee~ What? Did you think it was Gorgeous BoyFriend? Sorry to disappoint. I'm still single. LoL~

Met the aunt and her family at my carpark. Before both families set off to Masjid AlKhair for iftar and Maghrib prayers. After that daddy and the uncle went speeding along the expressway just so we can reach Masjid Kassim in time for Ishak and terawih. Boy was that scary! Everything seemed to be zooming past in a blur.

Just for general info, most of the guys at Masjid Kassim are handsome!!!! And the girls are gorgeous. Could it be that the eastside kids are more better looking? Nah, dont think so! *grins* One of the pegawai even looks a lot like the GBF. Huhuhuhuhu. I loike~

We went to Geylang after terawih. The Hang Jebat became a Tok Haji yesterday. Von Dutch stuffs were aplenty. Too bad ikan bilis pants were scarce. Had a blast being crazy with the cousins. We all walked in a single line behind bro since he's the tallest and people will think twice about not giving way to him. Hahaahahaa! Walked around the bazaar, Joo Chiat Complex before having supper at Yassin Restaurant. At around 11++, bid goodbye to the aunt and family before heading home.
